Early Life and Education
Born in Ibeku, now part of Abia State within Umuahia Ndume, he achieved Standard Three in education—a notable accomplishment at the time. Anosike was a skilled linguist, fluent in Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, and English, which facilitated his extensive ministerial work.
Ministerial Beginnings
His journey with the Christ Apostolic Church began in 1946, and he was ordained as a pastor in 1959, holding registration number 115. His marriage linked him to a family deeply embedded in spiritual leadership, as his wife was the daughter of a Prophetess and midwife.
Leadership and Expansion
The family relocated to Owerri following a divine vision received by his mother-in-law, prompting the establishment of the first Christ Apostolic Church colony there. This marked the beginning of several CAC communities in the region under his leadership.
Promotions and Legacy
Over the years, Pastor Anosike ascended through various leadership positions, eventually being promoted to District Superintendent and later to Associate General Superintendent, with significant time spent leading in Enugu. His commitment was particularly evident during the church split led by Pastor Godwin, where he remained loyal to the Ibadan leadership.

After retiring in October 1992, Pastor John Anosike continued his ministry until his death in 2004, leaving behind a legacy of devout faith and dedication to his community.
